Should i play through the game on 1 player first with a no cheat starting character

i like multiplayer because i get to use my own thief/fighter/mage but he is hacked. A Mage who is awesome from playing through bg so many times, then a Wizard slayer she came in handy too, a monk,my cavalier who is an expert dragon slayer,and an assasin which i became bored with quickly. i kept Jaheria i was just wondering if i am missing out on any interesting interaction between npc's by playing multiplayer the characters i do have don't talk as much

yes to all.it's alot more rewarding if you bet the game without cheating.you cheat you miss out on the tactics and role-playing,enjoy the game to it's fullest

Single player is much more interesting, especially the first couple of times through. I didn't do a created party until my 3rd time through and then I used 3 standard (non-hacked or reloaded) characters and allowed for 2-3 NPC's.

The NPC's really make the game interesting. Jaheira is not very talkative compared to some of the others, but she has an interesting side quest. I really like Viconia and Minsc for dialogue. Korgan also has some great interactions with others.

Single player is the way to go for a while.
