WK Demilich trouble

How do you fight the demilich on Lum's level of Watcher's Keep?

It is a small room so you can't hide in the corners like Kangaxx. The whole party must enter the room. I have one character (Jan) that can throw Spell Immunity-Abjuration that protects him from Maze, but he immediatly gets killed by Demilich Howl which I don't even find in the book! With Jan gone everybody gets Mazed and we are done for.

You can just send one person into the room. If you insist on sending everybody though, use scrolls of Protection from Undead on the whole party. You can also just send your main character into the room and turn into the Slayer to fight the Demi-Lich.

You can also use the scroll of Protection from Magic on the Demi-Lich. This prevents it from using magic on you. If you have Aerie, you can get her to use Spell Immunity( Abjuration) and whack the Demi-Lich with the Mace of Disruption. Korgan can also do this, just replace Spell Immunity with his Berserker's Rage.

I though I tried to send Jan in alone and got the "You must gather your party..." message. I will try again tonight.

Jahiera
All levels are in the upper teens. I have done in Bodhi but not Irenicus.

u got minsc just "bers"(special ability) him then he is imune to it

he is actually casting imprisonment.Beserk any fighters which will make them immune to impris or protection from magic scroll on your main fighter who will kill the dl.Only +4 weapons or higher will work.
Spell trap will also hold on your mages for a while.Blend together with previous advice.

I havent played this lich yet but on Kangaxx one winning tactic is to summon a Wizard Eye.
The Demi Lich will try to imprison the eye, which is impossible.
And meanwhile until the eye are dispelled you can hack an slash best you will...
He wont bother you.

Not sure this works on this one but since it worked on Kangaxx i suppose it will here to.

Just leave someone in the pocket plane, get korgan do enrage, easy kill, get rid of Korgan, get the guy you left in the pocket plane back.

I was wrong aboute the Wiz eye.
He did try to imprisone the eye first but succeded the first try.

So I used L9 spell spelltrap.
Since Imprisonement also is a L9 spell you will restore the Spelltrap.
And so on you can cast it time and again and hack in DL meanwhile.
