You can reach "only" 2 950 000 exp points. In the handbook youll find a description, which level any type of char is able to reach. Some players remove this cap once they played the game to end, in order to reach levels that normaly arent possible.

However if you do remove the cap you may not recieve you bonusses of leveling up as it is not implanted in the game But there seems to be a patch for that
Otherwise it's still very cool to play as a level 16 cleric dualed to a levl 17 mage Just like- |
