Just Assended w/ 3 rangers, ninja,2 bishops

When I started this party I went all ranged combat, did not spend 1 point in any melee skill. I assended at level 20 and assension peak was the easiest it's ever been. My rangers with the strong bow and mystic arrows were devestating. I insta-killed 95% of the creatures on the peak, no joke! The ninja was very effective also only doing 4-12 points of damage but at least one insta-kill if the battle lasted 3 rounds or more. Even the fight with the prince was a cake-walk. This was on normal mode and the I think the Bishops made it a lot easier with all the protection spells they were throwing up. It got to be a little much lugging around all that ammo at times. I never had to rest or teleport out of the peak. I was worried the Rangers couldn't hold thier own but wow! Anyway it was very fun not doing the melee thing this time, something different.
I'm trying all magic next. I'm level 8 now but I realy have to pay attention it's a lot more work. 2 bishops, Mage, Alchemist, Phi, Priest.

Well done Nightwing, that's one of the good things about this game, with all the combos of classes it's never the same twice.

Did you develop the Rangers' magic at all? Or was it pure ranged combat for them?

PS: I played a similar party with 3 Rangers, Gadgeteer, Bard and Bishop which was also a lot of fun.

Did not develope any magic on the rangers or ninja and only 15 pts into lockpick no practicing, I don't have the patients. I left the nija up front and cast gaurdian angel which helped early on. Toughest battle was the temple 3 people died, I replayed 5 times that was my best result.
