I just picked up Fire Warrior today it was at half price in a store here... and I think I know why... it sucks.
It's set in the Warhammer 40.000 universe, you play a Tau Firewarrior, I always liked the Tau Army, it's the army I'd collect if I was into the W40k... But damn this game is disapointing... I've just been through teh first 3 levels... and all you do is run around trenches, the enemies are really dumb, just run at you shooting. Really strange thing is that the character always says "Everything is quiet" or "no Movement"... just before you run into an enemy. Has anyone else played it... does it get any better? Those trenches are really starting to bug me... |

It does get better. Christ, is it a guelling slog, but it does get better. You get to fight on the hull of a starship, in a city... there's a lot more freedom than those bloody trenches.
The whole first few levels are one gigantic advertisement for Forge World battlefield accessories, alas.
