I just finished the game and what do I get? A lousy to be continued...!

I've had worse endings... finishing an arcade game called Final fight once, probably spent about 10$ on it... (it was in 1990 or so when you used 1 quarter per game... [img]smile.gif[/img] ) and all I got for finishing it was a bad guy falling down a building and then creditlist... damn that sucked... [img]smile.gif[/img] But I was no.1 on the hiscore list until the place shut down...

Final Fight? I only played Final Fight 3.. all the time. Me and my brother were one deadly combination.. until we were fed up with each other, that is. When that happened we started bashing each other until we died. The bashing usually continued off-screen

Did you like XIII apart from the ending, Zuvio? I'm wondering if it's a fun game with them cell-shaded graphics and all.. [img]graemlins/1ponder.gif[/img]

Well, I borrowed the game and I can tell ya, its not worth purchasing for myself. The storyline is far from being all that, the in-depth is too shallow, you've already played every single mission from this game in a better form in another game, the end-boss is irritating as hell (read=not tough, but very irritating), the dialogues get rushed, but cant be skipped(!), you cant save everywhere: you have to restart at the checkpoints, which makes you watch those cutscenes over and over again, because mission failure simply comes to easy if youre not careful all the time.... Lemme see, well the graphics are nice and tight, which results in very high FPS even on insane resolution and the cell-shading has a nice touch to it, very pleasant to the eye. But, as it is sometimes, the marketing departement behind XIII put more in effort into their work than the gamemakers did in theirs, which is always a bad thing......

It is a good game but ending is really lame . Even if you choose the Dark Side you still have to kill that woman or else she will ressurect that guy . Really lame . And anyone who is not a Dark Jedi is not a worthy opponent and this situation is going on for 2/3 of the game .
