At last!!!!! Here I am after 2-3 years waiting to play this game. I used to be on the "Wizards & Warriors" site and known as "Morningstar". Some of you will remember me. My hard drive gave out and after having to replace it and updating the sound card etc., I am finally able to play. I was really excited to find that Ironworks was still here and that Wizardry 8 was on the Forums.

Well, thanks to everyone who has posted some really great information on this board. I have read nearly all of it, and thanks Kev for your info on the 'Patch'. I downloaded it and it fixed my map problem! Glad to see that you are still around also! Also thanks to Sezarac for his info, it was really helpful.

Well that's all for now, I know I will have much to discuss later on as I play. I am at Arnika and trying to get to Trynton without being killed. I am going to start again and try some of the hints on the board to get better characters.

Talk with you all soon.

Welcome aboard, Morningstar. I think you will like this game. I went thru W&W a few times. It was good, but not like this one.

Hey Morningstat2, I hope you don't have a job, 'cos it does interfere with ones game play schedule! I think you'll really like the people here they are very friendly just like the W&W forum. I used to post there too but I can't remember what I used to call myself there.

Thanks everyone! I restarted my game with a Drac - fighter, Drac - Ranger - female, Hobbit - gadgeteer - female , Elf - bishop, and Elf - alchemist - female. Wow do they whack a punch! Got through all the monastry in half the time of the previous last 3 attempts. On my way to Arnika, hope they fare well there too! It was all to the help on the forum with the magic that my Mage has improved and gaining levels much more quickly without being killed.

See you later!
