bound armor spells?

OK, been playing current character quite a while, finally getting him where i want him, but can't find the bound armor spells, other than boots, gloves, and helmet, can't remember how I got those!

Can't find curias, greeves, pauldrons.

Any one know who might sell these, or even which organizations to try [mage, Imp. cult temple...]?

And do sellers re-plenish their spells, or do they start the game with all they'll ever have?

Could this have anything to do with my level in the mage guild, or relative lack of conjuration skill, since that's what 'school' these come from?

Say, is the SHIELD spell not the replacement for that? It does exactly the same as armor...

try the Balmora Mage Guild.

Sellers do replenish their spells. but it's better that once you bought the spell. go create an even better version of the spell.

Nope: checked with the whole gang in Balmora. I do have the bound longsword, dagger, bow, helm and boots that I may have gotten there, but no greaves, no cuirass.

They don't have it now, haven't had it yet: What are the odds it will appear when my conjuration picks up?

Oh, JrKASperov, shield spells and armor 'stack': if you have both, the damage you take is lessened.

well you problem with finding grieves, cuirass and paldrons spells is that only the cuirass spell is in the game. there is no grieves or paldrons spell. i checked the editor.

You can buy the bound cuirass spell at Dirty Muriel's in Sadrith Mora.

Here's a test ( sorry I don't have the game installed ), since you have other bound item spell with you, try to go a spell maker and see whether you can create bound cuirass spell.

For some reason, the thieve's guild doesn't want me. Only thing I ever did to them was get the code book for the fighters early on, and I've done that before, so I dunno what the deal is. They aren't hostile, just say I 'don't meet the requrement's, and have been saying that for around 20 levels now.

Tried the make-your-own spell option, didn't work, thanks anyhoo: it was a good idea.

Thanks for the tip on the greaves and pauldron: glad I didn't spend any MORE time looking for those.

Looked through the ironworks archive, found out the bound cuirass could be had from someone at Ft. Moonmoth, and found the spell seller in the cellar for the very first time, though I've probably spent upwards of 40 hours playing this so far...

So I made an exquisite amulet with cuirass, shield, longbow and longsword as a test piece. My main objective was to create great armor that weighed nothing so I could haul more. Am debating whether I really need the shield in the mix, might re-do it with the gloves instead. Also wondering whether it would be better to enchant things like the bound gloves into gloves: seperate the items for more long-term flexibility, but that would take a LOT of golden saints and soul gems...
