I was looking through the Gamefaqs forum just now, when I noticed a reference to the 'wish' spell in Planescpae Torment. I had no idea the spell was even present in the game, but looking on further websites it seems that not only is it there, but there is a legitimate, non cheating way to get it. My question is thus...How?
Thankyou.

Been a while, but I believe it is in one of the warehouses in Curst, after it crosses over into Carceri.

[/QUOTE]Yes it is, it's a scroll that you can only use once. If I remember well, you get the choice between getting a weapon, some xp, or money.

In the warehouse in curst after it's slipped onto the chaotic plane. To the left of the door in a pile of trash is a small stash that's easily missed.
The scroll can't be learned like a normal mage spell but can only be used once and only by the namelessone. It can give you money, some spells, stat increase, heals your party completely(a waste), or get a really powerful mege ring.

My memory is hazy, but I think you can get a decent item from that spell.

Thanks. I was just starting to go through the game for the third time, and I reading up to refresh my mind on the basics of what you had to do, when I noticed how many items I was seeing that I just missed the first time through. It's a brilliant game, the pinnacle of roleplaying in my humble opinion, and possibly deserving of it's own forum here on ironworks.

I don't understand why a straight hack n slash with no storyline or creative spark whatsoever such as Icewind Dale gets it's own forum, while PS:T doesn't.

Unfortunately, PS:T did not do as well sales-wise as IWD did.

I didn't realise this forum was based on sales. In that case why don't we have a polystyrene forum? Or a fruit juice forum? I hear that they are very good sellers!
We shouldn't be influenced by the so called 'consumer culture' If a game is good, which I think we can agree this one is, then it ought to get it's own forum. There is so much content that it would be valuable just for a place where we could share experiences. I meant, I'd never heard of wish the first time through. I also completely missed a large amount of Ravel's dialogue. This last one was my fault though. I missed the best the best spell in the game (Enoll Eva's...) because I thought the 'Twisted Gear' was a piece of junk and threw away!

Anyway, I've finished the game again, and I'm preparing to lend it to a friend, hoping it'll snare him as well, and I can initiate him into the dark cult of the nameless one.

GIVE PS:T IT'S OWN FORUM!!

Obviously you misunderstood the real picture. If a game sold poorly, less people are actually playing it. Do you expect Ziroc to set up a forum to collect dust do you?

And for that matter, the membership here is free; don't expect the board owner to customize his own board to suit every members' needs. If Ziroc feels the needs to have a new forum, it is entirely by his decision. So, if there are enough topics about PS:T to flood the board, he might give it a consideration. Right now, posts about PS:T are few and far between and if I were in his shoes, I would have not made a seperate board just for PS:T.
