I am playing as an alchemist for the first time and have a few queries about home brewing...

1. When brewing multiple potions from the same ingredients (with all the equipment), the resulting brews seldom end up in the same types of containers. The potency of the brews are identical except for the weight of the flasks. Is there any way that i can make all my potions appear in the same type of flask? Or, even better, choose what type of flask they appear in?

2. Can anyone provide a link to a list of all the ingredients and their effects?

As far as #1, I don't think you have any control over it. Here's a link. Search for "morrowind", and follow the faq link. Lots of good stuff there. Happy brewing.

Thanks for the links guys. I've been experimenting with the apparati to see if 'using' a particular piece will cause your potion to end up in a certain type of flask but it seems to be random at best.

Additional question: What is the purpose of the skooma pipe? I know it's classed as an alembic but what is the significance of putting it into the game if you can't use it to smoke crystal? (or antything else for that matter). I'm currently using it as a portable alembic and leaving the rest of my heavier cooking gear at home. Is this what it was intended for?

alembic is used to decreases the magnitude and duration of all negitive effects in a potion. and skooma pipe is an alembic. I'm afraid yo can't smoke skooma from it.
