Sarevok character

I think your friend is talking about the Ankheg. You know, those large green, scaled nutters (you'll meet loads of them north of the FAI). I wonder how that looks though, since they regularly move under the surface. My opinion: stick to your own paperdolls, they look much better (although it can be fun to look like a monster sometimes).

I have been wondering... my friend was playing bg multiplayer with his friend, and his friend had Sarevok as a character. I guess this is somekind of a hack/cheat. How is this possible?

As you said, it's a hack. I don't mind people removing the XP cap when they get bored waiting for BG II but I disagree with Diablo-type player-killers, no matter whether they're hacks or no.
BG is roleplay at its best, and people shouldn't spoil it for sheer bloody-mindedness. Sorry, but that's my opinion.

Now, about Sarevok: your friend hasn't actually played Sarevok, he just used Sarevok's avatar for his character. You can do this with TeamBG character editor. I've done this once myself, but didn't like it because when I equiped my own sword, it looked like Sarevok wielded two swords in one hand, so I just got back to my own Paladin-avatar (paperdoll).
