Well, im not vesselle, but i think that that character should do pretty well, although you caould get rid of mercantilism, because it doesnt really do that much...IMO anyway..

see?? i've been away from the game too long, so now i'm saying really and truly silly things.

anyway, she sounds good. my only hesitation is the Atronach. i'm not really sure how that works. does it add to the size of your magicka pool? ::sighs:: sorry, i have to admit ignorance on this one. i just don't get it.

Read in the Morrowund Forums before they went down this morning that the Atronarch was a good sign for Magic users.

Breton/Mage combo is great - I tried that with my first char, choosing the MAGE sign as well (bad choice).

My second character is High Elf/Mage combo with The Lady sign. Mage gave .05 magicka modifier, and the Apprentice would give a 1.5 modifier, but also a magicka vulnerability (what would that do to a High Elf that's already magicka vulnerable?... No thanks!). Steed would be nice for the speed, but I thought a more well-rounded approach was The Lady... and there you have it.

So far, so good, but I have as yet, to reach even 2nd level [img]smile.gif[/img] I'm too busy checking every single room, every single person I can find. And running/swimming as quickly as I can along the shorelines.

Odd coincidence! Whenever I create a female character in a game I name her Shiva Kali Deth. Don't know how I came up with it, though!

I haven't tried an Atronach character yet, but I worry about the "stunted Magicka" bit that goes with their sign. Doesn't it mean that the character cannot generate its own Magicka (sleep won't restore it), but is instead forced to get it from potions or absorbing it from spells cast at them? Or that's how I understand it works anyway from the constellations book and the way the sign was explained when I was choosing which sign to get.

Yup.. It looks that the sign replaced the old Sorcerer class from the previous elder scroll series.

that's the part i was trying to figure out. now i understand why it's nicknamed "the Golem".... seems the part about needed to absorb magicka from another source is what i didn't understand about it.

and, now that i know its like the Sorceror from daggerfall... i understandit much better.

and i thot it was a tad hard at first, but later on in the game it was really no problem dealing with.

so dear 'Old' Boy:

i think it's absolutely marvelous. Bretons are great magick chars and i like all the stats you picked. i prefer concentrating on mercantile, also. i think its important to pay attention to Personality Stats in this game, along with everything else. so, Shivva looks very nicely balanced.

i would like to try my own Enchantress based on your suggestion if you don't mind! [img]smile.gif[/img]

PHEW!! I was worried about the Atronach as well but was advised from a earlier post within the Morrowind forums to give it a try..

Off in a few to Reno for Sweetie's shopping and (of Course) a bit of gambling for her. [img]graemlins/yawn.gif[/img] ME?? Never, rather be playing my Morrowind or on the PS2 / XBOX and drinking home made coffee.

Well that is the 22 years of Navy cropping out on me. Love that coffee. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Will be able to 'really' play Morrowind tomorrow [img]tongue.gif[/img] Well if lucky some more later this afternoon.
