Hehe, I have been waiting forever to have the chance to use that ivory blade. I protected Ferro through some huge battles, I even went back and killed Chief Gari so that I could get a stupid Ring of Protection, and I spent a great deal of time building up dual weapons and mace just for diamond eyes/ivory blade.
So I got said ivory blade and put away excalibur for it, and my total damage output has reduced dramatically. I get no more swings with the ivory than I did with Excalibur (though they do come a little faster), and while diamond eyes is the best offhand weapon I've seen, it doesn't make up for the damage I lose with the ivory blade Plus, the ivory doesn't have all of the cool extras like instant kill and hex that Excalibur does. So I decided to keep Excalibur with my fighter, and wondered about Fang or Ivory blade with my samurai, and yet again, I ditch the ivory blade because it doesn't have the extras (I love the +10 str. and 10% kill with Fang) So here I am, and my hopes are dashed. Oh well...when you have a million gold, what's 100000 for a stupid sword, eh?

I got my diamond eyes in a little hut in the mountain wilderness...had to kill a death lord and two gibbering heads for it.

@armakh..gidday interesting yu mention that 1.000000 gold collection their mate.
I was wondering after yu went above the 1m mark, did yr gold total revert bk to 0? Mine did and man it had me puzzled and still has..did not help me to much once i got to Ferro, who has very nice items to buy. I left for some reason the Rapax Castle and Rift last and really it did not take to long to get a good gold surplus bk up again..mainly due to items left after kills by those spell casting samurai and their Rapax freinds. Ferro's Cloak of Many Colors was 75.000 gold and a Breast Plate I purchased for my Lord was 100.000..so it make's me wonder the more Gold yu have the more Ferro will sell for!! Anyway the special weapons he can make,do make a difference, but yu must collect all the 3 ingredients he requires which makes this game fun. ohh..and as for the Ivory blade yu are right..my Fighter still uses a 2 handed Sword..nothing special-(forgot the name)..but still hits just as hard. GL in yr Adventure sir. cheers jerry. :smokin |

No, my gold stayed over a mil when I got there. Ferro's items are just expensive, but I still can't spend all my mone there, even after buying the best stuff he's got for everyone that I can...that infinity helm is 'spensive!. But I still have like 600k left. All I can say is I'm glad that money doesn't count toward your encumberance!

![]() I like the ivory blade. I was very excited about getting it, because I missed both excalibur and the light sword. So fang and the ivory blade worked very well for me. I had my fighter using the ivory blade, he did a lot of damage with it. I can't compare to excalibur because I've never seen it, but if you don't have it the ivory blade's a winner

That's one thing that I forgot...the ivory blade is always there. I reloaded once to get Excalibur, and I absolutely love it, and I reloaded like 20 times to try to get lightsword, and I didn't ever pop anything but a vaporizor. So you're right....that is one reason why the ivory blade is very good....thanks for the reminder
