When I summon elemental in combat, I keep getting a message stating "that I can control only one elemental at a time". Where is my other elemental? Nothing is on radar or in sight?
2nd..What is the banish spell? |

My first posting to the messageboard! Hurray for me!
Anyway, when you summon an elemental that elemental is the only one you can control. If you try to cast Summon Elemental again you get the message that you can only control one elemental at a time. There can't be more than one summoned elemental by your caster. I haven't tried multiple casters summoning elementals, but I imagine you could then have multiple elementals fighting alongside you. Banishing is a great damaging spell for when you face an enemy elemental (either summoned or not). Cast it on them and watch them writhe in pain! Banish may work on undead as well, but I haven't tried that either. See you in Arnika! |

you are getting that message because you are trying to Summon more than 1 elemental with just 1 character. The way summon is set up is that you can not summon more than 1 elemental "per" character. So if you had 6 characters that were able to summon an elemental then you could have 6 elementals as long as each character summoned one each.
Banish is a Demon, Elemental, undead attack spell. Its what i term an RDD (radius direct damage) spell as it will do direct damage to any demon, elemental & undead type mobs within the spells range.

Thanks for the help! However..........the problem is when i go into a combat situation and have not cast an elemental I get the message that I cannot control more then one elemental. In other words I have no other elementals under my control to my knowledge yet I am unable to cast an elemental. Is that clearer? Thanks again.

I don't know why you cant get your first elemental, sounds like some sort of bug. I do know that a party can have more than one elemental in a fight. I gave all my party members canned wlwmentals and let them use them all in the same fight..5 canned and one summoned one.. It was a lot of fun.

yes definently sounds like a bug if it wont even let you summon 1 elemental but instead gives you the message.
Do you have another game or started another game that you can check to see if summoning an elemental in a different group game has the same problem?
