Okay...this is more or a tech problem. I have BG II with TOB installed. I am in the midst of playing a multiplayer game with 4 characters I have made up. Things go great all the way up to the Asylum in Chapter 4. Whenever I actually enter the asylum my saves from that point on including the auto-save into the asylum revert to Chapter 4, 0 hours. Has anyone seen this before? I tried going back to a previous save and it just does the exact same thing. Saves ok until I get into the the asylum. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

yes, when you go to spellhold you enter chapter 4, and the time you have spent there is 0 hours, it's different than the amount of time you have spent in game, you can see this in chapter 1 to 2, or 2 to 3, but it's probably just more noticable if you spent alot of time in the previous acts.

haven't noticed this before, I like playing with the NPCs in the game. It may be due to Multiplayer being started again after the new chapter (especially if you "modify" the primary character, this happened to me in BG1), and I'm not sure what game effects it would have, if any.

Romances could be adversely affected, but since you are playing your own party, that's not really a problem. One solution would be to copy your multiplayer save game folder into the regular "Save" directory, and play it as a single player game, eliminating the loop access time when on a TCP/IP protocol (you'll probably notice the fact you have to press the space-bar a couple of extra times to unpause, as the game is sending out the signal even though you aren't actually playing online).
