Two sided spy, how to be trick T'Rang?

I am a two sided spy working for both clans. Now I've complete all the mission to get the alliance paper, both sides. I've bribed He'Li and got ride of St. Kunar also, but when I go talk to Z'xxx and T'Rang, "it" still reconzie me as a spy, how come? Is that because I bought the Umpani banner from Kunar (Saw on some forum that if I buy it, it'll trigger him to report to T'Rang that I am spy)? If that's the reason, what if I just steal the flag? Will he still report? For now I just don't talk to Z'xxx, and everything is fine; I'm just wondering how I can do it correctly, so I can be prepared for my second time playing Wiz8. Thanks.

Take the two guys to see Yamir first and get the treaty from him. Then go back to Z'ant and instead of entering talk mode with him, enter inventory mode, grab the treaty and exit back to the main screen holding it. Click on Z'ant with it and you bypass his spy comments and can complete the mission. I had to do the same thing myself. I think you might lose out on a little dialogue between Drazic and Z'ant but that's it -- you get all the XP.

BTW, there's a way to get the 400K apiece XP bonus multiple times with a bit of judicious planning. If the initial 400K puts at least 1 character over the top to level-up and while you are talking to Z'ant you go into Trade mode and then click your characters to go into inventory mode, you'll hear the level-up music. Exit back to the main talk screen and when you finish your conversation with Z'ant and hit 'Leave', Rodan and Yamir have their whole talk over again and you get another treaty. If you give -that- one to Z'ant, he'll give you the 400K bonus again. Repeat as many times as you can. This little trick works only as long as 1) the 400K bonus causes at least one character to go up a level and 2) as long as you go into inventory mode without exitting the talk with Z'ant.

I discovered this by accident and ended up getting a triple bonus out of it because I had multiple characters so close to rising in levels.

I believe it's that huge breasted He'li that is your problem. I bought the banner as well from Kunar and never once was accused of playing both sides. The thing I didn't do, was even go near He'li in Arnika. Once I entered the Umpani base (doing the first quest for Z'ant of course), I have never gone close to her bar, not even once.

Avoid her and you'll have no problems. I just now turned in Kunar to get rid of him and did both sides all the way to the last quest for both. Z'ant still hugs me with all 4 of his arms when he sees me.

He'li is a lier. She'll take your money and rat you out. Later I'm gonna have to go back and give her what she deserves/wants, then kill her of course.

LordOgre is absolutely correct. Stay away from He'Li and you should have no problems. I always buy the flag from Kunar first thing after arriving at the base (before signing with the Umpani), do all the quests for both sides (except ship destruction, of course), and there's never been any trouble.

Kunar can and will turn you in. I never went near Heli and still got caught. I think some of it is randomized however, as to who narks on you and when they do it. Bottom line, if you want to play both sides, turn in Kunar immediatly after you officially join up and pay off Heli. (She wants less than $2,000 and that's a small price to pay for all that extra exp.)

Well, there are games where we've never ratted on Kunar and had no problems. Even used his happy little teleporter in back.

Of course, this may also be a patch issue. I only have the Ascension Peak update installed (my more nimble-fingered people prefer it that way

). Also, we do the quests for both sides together, pretty much. That may be a factor, too.

That's why I said I think that it is somewhat random as to when. I got a long ways once and another time I got caught almost immediatly. In that case I signed up just to get arrows from Kunar as well as the flag but never did any of the quests. I brought the flag back to the Trang and got the rapax quest, did that immediatly (I already had the rapax perfume) but when I went back, I had been turned in.
