Someone posted somewhere (I heard from my best friend KHaN) that the level cap is 50.
Why anyone in their right mind would try to reach it is beyond me since it takes millions of EP's to level up as you progress in your game. I beat it at levels 27 & 28.

Not sure of caps in skills and such, since they stop you from adding to them at 75 but keep rising as you use the skills.

I don't think I had anything but the attribute of vitality capped at 100 and even then, that gives you a bonus skill to start dropping points into.

If anyone has reached the caps, please post here so we can all tell you how cool and crazy you really are.

Yes high level need billions XP but I found out that if you follow the story line and level up the speed of leveling is aprox the same. The monster becomes stronger and there XP fain is proportional to your level.

And it's always nice to know you play with a level 50 Samourai or Bishop, god like mode

That would be my only motivation to play them out to their highest levels since they did lack skills I thought they were deserving of when I ended the game.

The Dark Savent would have to be a piece of cake at those levels though wouldn't he? I had a blast trying to outlive him, esp since it took me a few rounds to sane-mind my party after he threw a successful pandemonium on us in the first round!

The skill cap is 125. If you have items that raise you above that level, it caps it at 125. I found that knowing that made it easier for me to start changing Misc Items towards the end of the game because once my natural skill level rose to that point I could switch my "+10 close combat" item, for example, with something that was "+12 Iron Skin" and so on. Interestingly enough, even though you can only raise your stats to 100, they also cap at 125 if you are using items to raise them above 100.

Yes,

Level cap is 50.

Skill cap is 125: You cannot put points in it after 75. You can reach 100 with practice and get above 100 with objects or class bonuses (Sword skill for Samurai for example)

Attribute cap is 125: You cannot increase it above 100. But with items (Ankh of Speed, Fang,...) and spells (Haste...) you can get more than 100, but still not beyond the absolute max of 125.

Resistance cap is a mystery: The display shows a max of 100 but IMO the cap is higher.

Edited, for typos

Up to know the highest resistance I saw was 110. So it is possible the cap is 125 like the ret. But it's only speculation.
