(as topic)Just out of curiosity. Since many people complain about not enough good axes, and a few think that most items in wiz8 are just those in wiz7 and not much is new....
just to make it clear: for items I mean something that DOES NOT EXIST in wiz8.

race specific items for every race.

every race/class would be nice, but too much of a problem.

I'd Like to see:
"Ridgid's Pipewrench of Mauling"
Race warf Class:All 2Handed +15Engneering +5strength +5intelligence -6Initiative 8-20Damage 20%Knock out 20%Paralyze 1%Kill

"Bezerker Helm"
Race: All but Fairy Class:All +8AC Give's Bezerk attack like bloodlust Cursed -10Intelligence

This is fun I could make up new weapons all day. I'd like to see a set of "Race" items that make you want to play a Race/Class that isn't a good combo. Ie Elf Fighter or Dracon Mage.

That would be neat, if there was a whole set of items for just that race/class so u could have a Dracon Mage the was = to say a Fairy Mage but with Dracon HP/STR. They would have to be random and not easy to get a whole set, other wise every one would have 1 in there party.

Well, this is the reason I'd like Sir-Tech (won't happen) to make a campaign editor - so people can make up their own levels, weapons, etc. I think it'd be very cool.

But otherwise, as above - the race/class rare combo, where a race/class combo that doesn't seem so well, getting a nice weapon or armor to encourage trying different race/combos.

Better axes ? As it is now Axes are very far below Polearms, Mace/Flails and even staffs, not to mention swords.

Slightly OT rant: I'd also wish that unique weapons to be non-random but rather a result of a more or less big sidequest or battle, just like Fang for example.

Right now my SLF Editor only lets you edit items. However eventually (or shall I say "soon"? ) I'll have it able to add items as well. If someone wants to make a nice list, I'll consider adding some of them.

Actually I want to see some better ninja armor in the later part of the game. The starting set have a fine AC and that's enough even in later part of game, but I think there should be something for ninja that gives a bit of magic resistance. Also, at the later game, while your fighters are wearing mirror armor and golden breastplate, your samuri wearing a Hi-Kane-Do, and enen your monk and mage are wearing their new robes of Rejuvenation, your poor ninja is still wearing his old, dirty clothes that he already had when he first landed on the planet. Also imagine a cosmic lord that seems(and maybe smells)like a begger.......

I'd like to see some unique shields for once as opposed to the generic and all to common Granite and Aqua shield etc. In my first time through W8, my fighter (primary tank) had all his skill points invested in the axe My Lord was dual-weilding the Fang and a stileto whilst my Fighter was still using a meat cleaver from the freak'in Monestary > It was the best "axe" I could find. At that stage even the Beastslayer was pretty ordinary. The Plague Axe was ok though.

Possible items:

The Painkiller (2h axe): 20-35 damage, +2 AC, 20% kill, -5 inititive

The Omega blade (dagger): 10-25 damage, 10% kill, +7 inititive, usable only by Ninja's.

The Reapers Lash (Whip/flail): 15-25 damage, +1 AC, 5% kill, 20% poisen (Lvl 5), 10% hex.
