I just got to town and I talked to him and sold some stuff and now he says he doesn't have time.

What is going on here? I need to buy. I haven't even attempted to steal yet!

Never heard of this one either. I agree with V***V, the first thing I'd try is resting for 24 hrs, and coming back.

Oh, you haven't killed any towspeople or guards, have you? If so, sometimes the whole town refuses to deal with you.

Do you mean that he won't trade with you at all, or that when you try to bring up subjects he says, "I don't have time"? I think the latter may be one of those standard responses given by an NPC when you hit a subject they aren't familiar with--like Don Barlone's "I don't care."

great catch!! that's exactly it. i just popped in an arnika save and he says "Do not waste my time" when you attempt to talk to him about anything.

antone isn't a gabber. he is only there to sell you stuff and make you stuff. so don't bother yakking with him. just go straight into the trade window and conduct business!!

I did ask him many questions which DID piss him off.

How do I get back in his good graces. He will not tradw with me now!!!

has he gone to neutral or worse?

if it's neutral, you can try to bribe him with gold or gifts. there's a special pop up menu... it will say stuff like:

"threaten" (don't do it with him, he always calls your bluffs!)

"friends" (only if you have high COMM skill... otherwise he gets offended... crazy rapax)

"offering" (bribe him! gold or a present like a nice weapon)

"magick" (here's where you can try to Charm him... hmmm. might work. might not, tho'. if you have Mindread, you can actually find out just what he's thinking about you!)

so, my advice, save first, then go thru the list, reloading the save after each one till he acts kinda decent to you. of course, you don't haveta reload. it does remove the excitement. the only reason i suggest it is cuz its Antone. for goodness sake, he's an angry, human hating rapax. LOL!

ADDITION: Neutral means its temporary. sometimes, sleeping for a full day or two may change things.

He's still neutral.

Sometimes the friends button is not grayed out but when I press it he says "You are frustrating me" and then it grays out.

I'll try to bribe him I guess.

I tried 150 gold and he didn't care.

He finally smiled on 3 potions of medium cure(2 were not enough).
