There are varied amounts of triangles over monsters heads... what do they represent? The manual doesn't seem to touch on the interface of the game very much.

Notice the different colors of the triangles? They're tied to the colors outlining your party members. When a PC has a clear shot with their current weapon at a monster, the triangle's visible.

also, when a character is targeting something the triangle apears atop their head.
so a dracon breath using mage would see triangles over the monsters that were currently in the arc of damage If oyu target something that can only hit one enemy, then the target's leace all other monsters and reside solely on that one |
