you need to take it to the spaceport and use it to fix something there that is broken.

please don't throw it away just because some silly little Bobo used it as a chewtoy!

If you ask every NPC about everything, its use will be apparent when the time is right. You will not need it unless you are doing the T'rang quests.

two major hints are

we go to Arnika alot, but take the underground route. We take shinly things

and the writing on the wall... Bobo will love this... and the fact that the hogars name is bobo
