At level 13 i managed to beat him down to 200hp with the help of 2 elementals and 2 dead casters. At what level should i be able to slay it?

i'm not sure, but i have a question. LOL!! how'd you get 2 dead casters to help fight him? LOL. if they were resurrected, they weren't dead, so.... ??

Woops i just now realized the error in my last post, what i meant to say is that my 2 casters where dead early in the battle, that's why i had to stop when Nessie was down at 200 hp, i couldn't last about another 3 rounds due to sta and shielding problems =/

well I was around level 13 -14 when this dreaded event occured...

I killed Nessie with the help (as you did) of a couple elementals, but the key for me was getting up close. My fighter did most of the damage. I also used eye-for-an-eye potions. The major drawback here is Nessie's ability to gobble up your characters. Fortunately for me, she ate my near-useless samurai.
