SoA/ToB error!!!

Shadows of Amn has been working great ever since I installed it. Last night, I purchased ToB and decided to install it but today, I started a new game of SoA but and there is a bug!

When I use spells or items in my quick items slot, they disappear! They are still listed on the inventory screen mind you but they disappear from the game screen and in order to use them again, I have to open the inventory screen and double click on them. I downloaded the patch which could be causing the problem. Is there any way to fix this??

which patch did you download? if its the official one then i can say that it should not be causing this, otherwise i really dont know. unofficial patches are usually ok, but have ben know to cause problems.

try uninstalling then re-installing. i know it takes forever, but its the only thing i can suggest.

I reinstalled it and it's fine now! *dances with joy*
I think it was because I downloaded the SoA patch, installed ToB and then downloaded the ToB patch. Perhaps they counteracted eachother, causing the bug.
