Play two games and decide which party you like the best...if you can!

(I have two games going...one with Elite classes and one with Basic classes that includes a Bard and a Gadgeteer...I like them both too much to give one of them up)

LOL! Yes you must!
You may just decide to play both games like me...although I'll admit to playing my elite-class game more because it is the first party I created with the game and I want them to succeed.

What I would give to have my Wiz 7 party available!
They rocked

Still, I think the game with the basic classes has a lot of potential.

Have fun when you get your game and make arrangements to eat and all that other important stuff because if you are any kind of Wizardry fan, you're not going to want to leave your computer chair!

Have a goodnight...I am off to bed...late from having stayed up half the night to play Wiz 8 LOL!

My Wiz 7 party was fighter heavy because I had maxed a lot of the magic users and turned them into fighters. I had a Lord, Valkyrie, Monk, Ninja, Bishop and Ranger. Not the best combination for a Wiz 8 party.

During the first level up (part of the 4 free ones) I turned my Valkyrie into a priest, my monk into a bard, and my ninja into a gadeteer. My bishop is concentrating only on Wizardy spells. As he gets better, he will work on psionic, alchemy and then priest spells.

Right now they are doing okay. They are not quite as good as my party that I created from scratch, but they do have some cool items from Wiz 7. My fav is the stun rod. I gave one of those to Vi and she is doing 25-50 per hit with two hit per round. Plus it has a chance to paralyze. She has just finished saving my tail several times against a train of rattkin.
5 Goons
4 Snipers
3 Patrol
3 Thieves
4 Goons
3 Archers

I got close to 40,000 exp for that and would have been killed by just the goons themselves if Vi had not paralyzed some of them and let us blast them.

One of the neat things is that my bard (changed from the monk) can cast a couple of low level heals when necessary. This has also saved my tail more than once. He doesn't get any skill increases for casting it, but it is nice to have him cast a heal on a member that is about to die while my priest is casting holy water or rest all or some other helpful spell.

Depending on what your party is, you may want to keep your Wiz 7 party the way it is, or make a few changes early on. I went for the early changes and I like what I have done.
