I've gotten to the cosmic circle and right after I approach the main chamber and the dark savant rebukes Aletheides the game just plain old locks right up. When I alt-tab out i get an illegal function message. Anyone else get this?

Try installing the patch... I think it fixes most, if not all, bugs associated with that place.
