The Rattikin are attacking me?

After I killed the Rat Breeders all the Rattikin guards are now attacking me. Is this right? They are kicking my but and I can't get off the tree. My last save is before I started the Rattikin area. Has this happened to anyone else?

Yup. They don't like you killing their mommies.

I only ran into 2 groups of 4 of them when I was leaving the area, I guess I was lucky.

The Rattkin Mafia won't attack you (and will actually help you kill the regular Rat guys if you lead them into their house). If you look in your 'Faction Alliances' part of the journal it will say Rattkin Regular - Hostile, and have a different rating for the Mafia.

Just run, and try and stay on a different level than them as you try and leave.

go into your options NOW!
click on "allow auto-save" and you won't have to worry about going back to your last handmade save again.

I went into the breeders room and shut the door, slept and healed up before I could even try to leave...we had 4 Rattkin Goons and 3 Rattkin Snipers waiting in our only path out.
It was a tough fight but being healed up and having all of our magical powers in the beginning of the fight really helped!
If you are only being attacked by the Rattkin Patrol & Rattkin Archers, consider yourself lucky!
Be prepared to have to fight something everytime you return to that area now that you've killed the breeders.

Best of Luck to you getting out and if you end up feeling like you need to restore the game prior to killing the breeders and up a level or two before going back, don't feel bad about it! Be happy your were smart enough to save just prior to getting into your predicament!
