Another Watchers Keep post

I am currently on the 3rd level, in SoA, all around level 12-14. My character is a Bounty Hunter, I also have Jahiera, Minsc, Edwina, Viconia and the Paladin dude. The area I am stuck in is the one with the demons, in the dead magic room. What Stragedy should I take to defeat them?

I have the Netherese Bracelet or whatever it is, what does it do, because now Edwina has 2 Netherese artifacts.

Talk with your sevant about it. IIRC you need at least +3 weapont to hit those guys. Do you have one?

Yes, I have the Holy Avenger Paladin Sword, The Lilarcor, the one Katana from the guarded compound, and plenty of +3 bolts/arrows/bullets.

The Circlet of Netheril, by itself, is a component in a larger item. Xen wants you to talk to your 'servant' about it. If you haven't gotten to ToB yet, don't concern yourself with it until you get there.

As for the demons in the antimagic zone, I'd stand by the door for a while and let them tear each other apart. Then you can just waltz in and wipe out whatever's left. Stay out of sight, or they'll unite against you, the common foe.

I come in from the portal, and they immidiatly see me, and demon fear scares some members of the party, so the hiding wont work.

Slap on some Remove Fear or Protection scrolls before you enter. There most likely is someone in your party with that spell, and it's extremely useful [img]smile.gif[/img]

Ah, but the antimagic field removes spells upon entering the room.

Then your only option is to come back later or get Boots of Preservation. You need Tactics MOD for that. Then install the component called "The Ritual".

Oh and good luck getting them.

You could use Dragonslayer sword, which protects from fear.

I'm not sure about potions, do their effects get dispelled too? If not, you can use Potion of Clarity to protect from fear.

When you fight, concentrate on only one demon with all your fighters, when he is dead, move on.
