Welcome back everyone.....any guesses to when Wiz 8 will be out? I was browsing their forums last week and Ian Currie posted a pretty good post to all the whiners, *ahem* I mean gamers over there and it sounds like they are serious about releasing a very good product, however I get the gist it will still be a few months.

I just hope they know what they are doing, it seems a lot of people are losing interest in it.

Hiya Scronan!

Let's hope the forums are up to stay. I for one have sort of lost faith in their stability, but time will tell.

Wizardry 8 will be a success only if the reviewers deem it to be. Gamers are some of the most fickle people I know. Most of them rely on the the reviewers to tell them what to "think" rather than trying out the game for themselves. And then we wonder why politicians in Washington can get by with what they do?

Anyway, players will start gaining interest in W8 when it's released.

Well, I would much rather see them take their time and produce a good, relatively bug free stable game. Unlike a game such as Tribes 2, which I think has 10 patches out for it already, and the game was just released two months ago.

To which do I agree? D) to all of the above!

However at my (relatively) advanced age, I do wonder if I'll be old enough to see Wiz8 when it finally arrives. And will my -- by then -- acient computer be able to handle it. Stay tuned...

Oh, and hi folks, I'm back!

Sometimes I am very glad I don't bother to read reviews! Those that I have read in recent years for games I actually tried gave just the opposite reaction to my own. Guess that might be considered useful! lol!
