Just wanted to let people know I am still here, although with time drastically reduced due to the recent birth of my baby daughter Kayleigh.
I lost the use of my main PC which also, unfortunately, had the design I was working on, so unfortunately, that project is on hold until I can get the computer up and running again. However, while I am on this second PC, I aim to start something new, while insipiration is running high ![]() I did a small update to my site adding two new PC icons: a Male Halfling Thief and a Female Elf Ranger. I plan on getting back into adding these a bit more regularly so I should have some more to add before too long. http://www.freewebs.com/hauntedhollow/dungeoncraft.htm Also, I downloaded Dungeoneer earlier Manikus and I seem to be having problems. I can run the design but when I am creating a character and choosing a portrait, it freezes. Anyone else encountered this problem or does anyone know what might be causing it? - Telwyn [ 09-21-2005, 02:51 PM: Message edited by: Telwyn ] |

Hey...something I can actually help with!
I had the same problem too, looks like something to do with the difference in the design config between 0.910 (when Dungeoneer was 'released') and the 0.912 engine (I assume that is the current version you are running). I loaded Dungeoneer into the 0.912 editor and saved it again without changing anything, and after that it worked fine. Try that. Hopefully that fixes things for you.

What a weird glitch. I'll post it to the yahoo group so that Richard gets a look at it.

That fixed it Tarlanon, thanks. Enjoying playing Dungeoneer so far. Great use of all the artwork that's out there and excellent writing and atmosphere.
It's nice seeing a few designs appearing at last, especially at such high quality. - Telwyn |

By the way, congratulations! I'm amazed you can find any time at all for DC, ![]() The new icons are great. I'm not familiar with Formians, but their icons are cool. I would love to see your take on an otyugh or neo-otyugh. -manikus |
