Never fails... Anytime I get into a show, it gets canned. IDIOTS!
![]() Some good news-- NBC is making a new series called "Journeyman" its based on the game series maybe? It is about the same thing---time traveling to fix the past... And one of those guys in Rome (the two men) is the lead in it. (The blonde guy) But you KNOW NBC's history with Sci-Fi. They usually cancel the show before it even gets off the ground. Hope it's good! Seems to me like a rehash of Timecop, and that TV series didn't last long, and I kinda liked it! had so much potential! |

Bah and I watched like 1 episode of Rome and said to myself "I have tons of time to watch the rest". Yeah NBC and Sci-Fi don't mix well unless it tops records on the first night. They don't believe in letting a show gather its audience. They want insta-hits now and that's it. Just look how much they moved poor "Scrubs" around. They changed it so much that people who started watching it started missing it. And I think the show is horribly underrated because of that. It is funnier than "Friends" ever was IMO.

I like Rome, but I can understand why they canceled it. Didn't it have a 100-mil dollar budget per season?

Excuse the relapse into mental illness and allow me to restate:
Rome is my favorite show on right now, even more so than Heroes I dare say, are you sure HBO's cancelling the series?

A pity, Rome is an awesome show. I hate it when this sort of thing happens.
If it happens again and I only get a Game of Thrones and no Clash of Kings, I'll go rip someone a new one.

Bugger. I haven't even watched a single episode! I guess I'll have to buy both seasons on Amazon or something.
That said, maybe the boffins in charge wanted to go out on top - maybe they would rather people ask them "why did you cancel the show" instead of "why didn't you cancel the show". |
