This book by will shetterly has probably the strangest world ive read. Elves humans half elves, magic & technology in the present....add in punks and addicts...
Its story was touching and had a lovely ending, not one of the most gripping of tales as some other writers can tell, but a good read nonetheless.

If you love that setting try reading the Shadowrun novels.

In my opinion, the Shadowrun world is the best, I'm a great fan of it. It's a shame the rpg is mostly unknown.

There was also a kickass SNES game and a not-so-kickass Sega game.

As for the RPG I've always wanted to play, but never had the chance to get into a group for it...

I've bought and read almost all the rpg book, but I only managed to ever find 2 groups. I really wish I could play this world more.

The only book I have is the year of the comet book (really interesting stuff) but I know alot about the system and setting, and if I could get a group for it, even for one game I would probably buy all the books I could get... lol

You know, you could always try running one in the RP forum, I would definitely join.
