I have just reread the first three books and am waiting for the fourth, just wanted to post some opinions and see what other people are thinking about it so far.

I think King Stannis might do quite well for himself, sure he lacks the men to have a signifigant military advantage but with the help of Melisandre he seems to have already killed four self-styled kings; Renly Baratheon, Robb Stark, Balon Greyjoy, and Joffrey Lannister. Although in all four cases the killing was done by another hand they all fall in perfect timing with Stannis' plans.

I really want to see the return of Theon Greyjoy as I enjoyed reading about his character and there has been no conclusive evidence of his death.

Will post more later, am definatly interested as to other people's opinions.

What I want to know is how Catelyn will work. Who will she ally with, and who will she stomp on. Right now she doesn't have much of a fighting force, just the men of the real king. I loved that last chapter of book 3, the return of Catelyn
What is most interesting IMHO is that Cersei becomes a lead character in book 4. Can't wait to get the happenings from her point of view. She'll probably claim the rulership of the Lannisters, but the house and the rule it has on the kingdom will most likely end.
Stannis is currently active on the North, and will most likely give Jon back the North and all his lands, so he can turn to the now ripe for taking throne.
But what I most want to know is how Tyrion will continue. He's my favorite character, and right now it seems like he doesn't have a friend in the world, nor the means to secure one.

Jon won't take Stannis up on his offer. He'll become commander of the Night Watch. I also wonder who the mysterious stranger is with whom Bran had a run-in. I think it might be his uncle, the former commander of the watch, he went missing earlier. We never saw any evidence of his death either.

I reread Game just last year. On top of all my other reading, getting through all of the other 2 seems.... DAUNTING. Does anyone have a link to a (warning -- HERESY approaching) summary of these books? Just hoping.

I've been waiting for a Dany/Jon romance -- an incestuous one. Anyone else?
