G.R. on IMDB.com

This is the story of motorcycle stunt performer, Johnny Blaze (Cage), who agrees to become the host of a "spirit of vengeance" in exchange for the safety of his true love, but the price he pays is to be cursed with the avenging spirit that takes its form at night as a demon with a flaming skull on a motorcycle of hellfire...

With Sam Elliot, Peter Fonda, Eva Mendes? This oughtta be good. Since Cage really has a G.R. tattoo (they had to cover it with makeup during filming) he might actually know something about the comic. I hope. Too bad we gotta wait 'til 2006...

I am looking forward to it as Nicholas Cage is one of two actors that I have trouble naming a bad movie they have been in (Johnny Depp is the other)

Obviously opinions vary. I happen to think Pirates of the Carribean was an excellent film because of Depp's hilarious portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow.

Question Mark

Although I wouldn't have cast Cage as Johnny Blaze, he is an accomplished actor who will be able to pull it off. I was wondering what Marvel was going to do for their off-season comic book movie...which makes me wonder when the Dr. Strange movie will be made.

A bad Nicholas Cage movie? Well...Gone in 60 Seconds wasn't that great.

And you can't forget Face-Off either...

I think a Dr. Strange movie could be really cool if done correctly.

Ghost Rider was filming on the streets of Melbourne earlier this year. It was kinda odd - there were these big black SWAT trucks everywhere, extras dressed as US cops, and I saw Nic Cage on his big black motorbike. He was wearing this weird green skull cap covered with little green LED lights - I guess they are gonna do some fancy SFX later, coz he just looked like really odd.
