Howl's Moving Castle

Not sure how many animated film fans there are in here, but I thought I'd see who was after i saw the trailer for howl's moving castle...its Hayao Miyazaki's next film. i became a big fan of his after i saw Spirited Away...reminded me a lot of final fantasy actually.

anyway, anyone else heard about it yet? comes out on fri i think...

Indeed....you should check out the trailer too (and i think there are even some small scene videos). Looks like it shoudl be another good one.

I think that's everyone's first impression with a Miyazaki movie. Spirited Away and Mononoke-Hime also look like kiddy-movies, but in the end they're more than that [img]smile.gif[/img]

I agree with Link...Miyazaki's movies ARE animated, so yes, it comes off as a kiddy movie sometimes...but if you see Spirited Away, i'm sure you won't walk away thinking it was a movie for kids.

I haven't been able to see Howl's yet...but I'm hoping to this weekend. the reviews have been solid so far, so that's a great sign!
