Watched this the other day, I'd forgotten just how damn good it was! In case anyone is wondering I'm talking about the Luc Besson film starring Jean Reno, Gary Oldman, and Natalie Portman. I really can't fault it, in pretty much any way. The film just blows me away everytime I see it. Oldman is incredibly threatening, but also hilarious, and Reno plays the part of the hitman extremely well. Half idiotic and childlike, but also extremely capable.
If you haven't seen it - go now!!! Find a copy and watch it! Trust me...

I saw it, it was pretty good. I'm not as exited about it as you are, but still, it was quite entertaining.

the film was called simply "The Professional" in the states, I have the international version or I probably wouldn't know what you were talking about either, I agree, it's an excellent movie. despite what the US version cut out (alot of the cleaner training, and some of the racier love moments)

OK! Glad to know I'm not talking to myself here...
![]() But yeah, I know what you mean about the love scenes. Slightly disturbing, quite frankly. But I think thats the idea - Leon is never in control of their relationship. Despite the fact that shes 11 or 12 its always Matilda who's calling the shots as far as their relationship goes. The "power-struggle" between the two of them is one of the most interesting things in the film I think, personally.
