Did anyone see Taken. I think it's finished already in the USA, but over here in England we're only up to Episode 7, God's eqation.
What did you think of it? Personally I think it's great and I'm completely addicted, but no one else at school watches it, so I need someone to talk to about it! It's driving me mad!

Never heard of it, but I think most TV's a waste of time.

Yes, I saw it when it first came out on the SciFi Network here in the US and thought it was AMAZINGLY good. [img]graemlins/thumbsup.gif[/img]

"Taken" is a 10 part, 20 hour long Steven Spielburg mini-series that deals with UFO sightings and alien abductions, mainly in the US, since the end of WWII. The series follows 3 families, who are linked in this ordeal, from the 1940's to present day. It deals with the government cover up, etc...

The title refers to those who have been abducted by aliens;
they've been "taken".

Check this out. It provides a time line, a family tree, a synopsis of each episode, and lot's of extras, but be careful some of it is spoiler material.

It does put the question of aliens back into perspective, though. Consider: if aliens have been monitoring us since the late 1940s, then by now they speak our languages, have a thorough understanding of our cultures, and have compiled a very thorough medical database about our biology. If they haven't found that for which they seek in 50 years, then it doesn't exist here. Supposing they do exist and visit regularly, when, then, could they want?</font>
