I have read salvatores Icewind Dale trilogy all the way up to Sea of Swords. The next two books the thousand orcs and War of the Spider Queen costs 20 bucks where I live. I don't have that kinda money. What are other good forgotten realms books? I heard the Elaine Cunningham is quite good. Should I read daughter of the drow?

IMO, Cunningham's drow series is better than Salvatore's. If you plan on reading Daughter of the Drow, you might as well get Tangled Webs and Windwalker. The final book of the trilogy only comes in the larger format, much like the WotSQ quintet.

Try "The Cleric Quintet" it's another Salvatore book and if you get the large paper back it has all four books in it.The characters are all familiar with the icewind dale area as well.
