Who else thought this movie was awesome?? I loved how they had a number of theological questions posed intelligently and discussed thoroughly. Anyway I would like to ask each of you the question they ask in the movie and give you the same choice. Would you stay, or would you wake up? What is happiness to you?

edit:spelling

Awesome movie! Just saw this over christmas at my brothers. Definitely a movie that's worth watching a few times.

As for the choice, given the situation he was in I'd probably choose life as well. Otherwise, I really wouldn't be able to say.

I forgot to post what I would do. I know its probably not going to be the popular answer, but I would never wake up. Why live with reality when you can live in a self made paradise.

I've heard that Vanilla Sky was a terrible movie!? What's it about?

Well, telling you too much would give it away - and it would ruin the movie. Part of the fun is figuring out what really is going on.

The movie is basically about a rich guy (Tom Cruise's character) that gets scarred in a car crash and learns to deal with the disfiguration.

One of the twists is the whole movie seems like a series of dream sequences.

FWIW, my dad didn't like it either but I thought it was a great movie that kept you thinking. I had the ending figured out before the clincher, but I think I can say that while you watch this movie - whatever you are thinking about the ending will be TOTALLY COMPLETELY WRONG!

I watched it but thought what a pretensious bullshit it was... I don't know if Tom Cruise just gets on my nerve so much, but I just hated it... shame because I thought the original movie, Spanish, called Obro Los Ojos, was really good. Much better than the US remake...

It's a good movie, but only if you are the kind of person who like to think a lot. Persoanlly, I liked it a lot.

If what you are looking for is a simple movie to entertain you, then I does not recommend it.

I watched the spanish movie and it was pretty much the same thing, except for the more budget and bigger american stars, in the american version.
