It's in the root Baldur's Gate directory.
.../Black Isle/Baldur's Gate/Portraits If it's not there just create a folder and name it that. At least I'm pretty sure that's where it goes, I only have BG2 installed now, so I can't check. Gatekeeper is the editor for BG1, it's at: http://www.mud-master.com/ |

i'm not sure what you mean. But here's the basic run down....
When you open the GateKeeper10901.zip file you should have two files, Readme.txt and GateKeeper.exe Run GateKeeper.exe, it should give you a small window with the stats (str, int, etc) on the left (grayed out), then on the right a window with Helm, Armor, Shield, etc. Click on Settings and select Game Location. Navigate to you BG install directory and select the BGMain.exe (I think... whatever runs the game). Then you can go to File (in GateKeeper) and open a saved game or Character file. It should run directly once unzipped, no additional programs needed. ...OH I see what you mean. You downloaded the wrong file, that's the source code so you can make your own editor. Download the first file on the page, GateKeeper10901.zip Not GateKeeper10901Src.zip (which I assume you downloaded, if not let me know because something odd is happening) Good luck [ 01-16-2005, 02:39 PM: Message edited by: Halbarad1891 ] |
