Ok guys, the man can build anything given enough duct tape, that alone merrits critical acclaim. In one episode he home brews beer with a washing machine and an old refridgerator. The guys is a poor mans McGyver he can create anything at all from nothing at all. I didn't say it always works well but he does build it. I'm wondering how big this show is in Canada where it is made, any Canadians?

"Remember: if the women don't find you handsome, they should at least find you handy."

"Ain't nothin' in this world that can't be fixed with duct tape."

PBS at it's finest! The special "pledge" show was hillarious.

Oh I love this show! It's so hilarious I remember the one episode where Red makes a teenage girls bedroom setup out of axels (I think) for bedpost; inner tubes for the mattress; stacked tires with slots cut in the sides for a dresser with the slots as drawers kind of, where you can pull out something to wear. So stupid it's funny! And then I think he used that surveyor tape for ribbon decor.

"Well, it's time to use the handyman's secret weapon... duct tape."

I miss Red so much. They don't play his show here in Virginia. Have any cable networks picked him up?

My favorite show was the one where they wanted to generate their own power.

I miss the show too. They used to show it here on PBS, but that was a couple years ago, and I haven't seen it since. I'm sure we'll see it on cable somewhere, though. Everything plays on cable eventually.

I would like to have a mug like this. Where could I get one? And others, like the other 'If the women don't find you handsome they should at least find you handy'? They would make great gifts for the guys in my family too!
