I was thinking of buying the misenchanted sword by Lawrence watt-evans as i think it is the first of his ethshar books. but it is very expensive at about 10.29,so is it worth paying a huge amount for this paperback?

I've read almost all of his books.
The reading goes very quickly because he writing style is VERY 3rd person"ish". None of the Ethshar novels really relate to each other so you can figure your getting a good read w/out having to move on to another book. Is the book worth 10US? NO, unless your fairly well off and don't mind paying to much. I'd rate the book at about a B+ (about what I would rate all of his books except for the "cyborg & the sorceror series" = A-). Try and find his books in a used book store - there well worth the used price. |
