Undermountain was busy.
When I did get down to the Drow Proving Grounds someone had been through before and I ended up taking on respawns without the protectors. Dev Crit was working well and and I got through nine Drow in five minutes. Almost a record except that the last three hadn't respawned. Frustrating or what. |

Grey, if you EVER do anything that crazy, I will write a sonnet for your funeral. It may take a while for me to remember how a sonnet works, so don't do something that loony yet. That would be like using nothing but Harm spells inside of the Melairkyn Dwarven Halls. (bad idea...)

Thanks for the ideas but for some while now I have found that one at a time is quite enough for me.
Thanks to Mozenwrathe too for the offer of a sonnet for my funeral. Unfortunately thats only 14 lines and I was hoping more for something Skaldish - at least as long as Nial's Saga. I think the best I can hope for is for someone to record my last (but probably unrepeatable) words as one of those Drow priestess hits me with yet another harm spell. |

Nial's Saga? Okay, you have me there. Can you post a link to what I would be looking at in terms of a proper saga? You do realize, however, I would probably have to make everything up. Therefore you would end up in at least three unrealistic battles, argue with one goddess, and have sex with a demoness who was trying for your soul but instead got the Runespear Of Passion +3 (+12 vs. demonesses trying for souls) for her troubles.
*winks*

Nial/Njals saga is about a 50 year long Norse blood feud across Iceland, Norway and Scotland.
No Demons or Gods and the battle descriptions are surprisingly realistic. If you want to see a short synopsis then try: http://emotionalliteracyeducation.co...ne/njals10.htm |
