finally! after one and a half years i have managed to get onto EFU. The only problem though is that when i run the module some of the graphics are not working, some of the content is all snowy and obscured by multicoloured lights. Also its running terribly slow even though im on broadband.

Try updating your graphics drivers.

The EFU server is pretty laggy anyway, you'll be lucky to get a ping <200. Also, when there are a few people in big fights, you will experience a lot of slowdown. Just enjoy the experience

No, as in go to the manufactuer's website for your graphics card (presumably nvidia or ati) and download the latest set of drivers.

Drivers are simply pieces of software that allow your games to use your graphics card - downloading the latest set will often bring performance improvements.

ah ok ill see what i can do. It seems to me that the only graphics that are stuffed are the ones that are in the efu hak, which makes me think that maybe i have done something wrong there. Though all the .hak files are in the hak directory and all the .tlk files are in the right folder also. I have'nt described it very well so ill take a screen shot so you guys can get a better idea of what i mean.

It's not slow for everyone though. Many have good pings.. its all about where you are, and the hops between you and this server.

BTW, Its run on a 3.8Ghz OC'ed Intel with 2 gig ram. So the server is superfast, the only issue will be bandwidth.

Looks like the cep is corrupt and you have the resolution set low. Set the textures to highres.

When you see white like that, it means the textures are missing, meaning some issue with cep I believe.

Did you install the .tlk file in the NWN/tlk dir?

nope, never use any overrides-- any one using them could impact major issues in efu. (seeing something look different, ect)

Okay, I had to check. Right now most of my previous overrides are currently in a *.Rar file inside the overrides area. I had a whole host of head files in my overrides pile, so I don't know if that would have made any serious changes to what I was seeing all this time inside of the Undermountain. If you know how to convert override files to stuff you can throw into a hakpack, I can send them to you and you can peruse them to see if you wish to add any of the heads to your module.
