Anybody here remember what the boss monster is in Ulcaster dungeon? I'm getting a Greater Wolfwere and it's just waxing my L5 party. I have the *Vault* mod loaded and that mod adds some items and supposedly makes some areas harder, so that could be it. It seems like that boss wasn't that tough the first 2 times I played.
Also, anybody played the Vault mod before? Opinions welcome. I've also got *the Grey Clan* mod loaded.

Ulcaster being, one of the missions added by TotSC expansion? Well if that is correct, though I played it without any mods, I was already around level 8 before taking on any of the missions at Ulgoth's Beard. Other than that can't think of much more; sorry. I do remember using the Wand of Heavans a lot in order to defeat the Greater Wolfwere though.

Ulcaster Ruins is available in vanilla BG, too, btw. I never thought of that area as having a "boss" monster. The hardest thing I remember there was either a vampiric wolf, or a slime of some kind. (depends on opinion)

Oh sorry, I know where you mean now. Still I can't think of any enemies that caused me much trouble when I was there. Because you mentioned the wolfweres I was thinking of the mission at Ulgoth's Beard where you fight a Greater wolfwere on the island.
