Problem!

When i connect to Gamespy i get the box saying "Connection failed, try another Nick".

But i can still direct connect to EfU but can't join with my character since another box saying something about an "arnadenchat" problem pops up. Any idea what i should do?

Well, Arnaden is the name of the hackpack that Ziroc uses I think - do you have the right one installed?

As for Gamespy - I think that's a separate problem. It could be a problem at their end in which case try again in an hour.

It could also be a firewall blocking gamespy from accessing the net perhaps? That would explain while a direct connect works.

Ah, the mistake may have been the fact that i have the 1.51 CEP hakpak installed but not the second hakpak...i'll see what this does...
hope to join the game soon and introduce a druid gray to the depths of the Undermountain!

Yeah you will need to download the second hakpack. That will solve your second issue.

As for the first issue if you have a probelm with gamespy try a direct connect.

Okay, that problem is now totally settled.

just adding on a new question onto this thread since if I make new topics...the forum shall be flooded with small 3 reply threads.

Anyway, is the maximum character creation limit for EfU 2?

If so, how do i delete my people? Do i have to talk to Ziroc?

There is no limit to the number of characters you can create (other than server disk space

).

As posted in other recent threads, you must contact Ziroc to delete unwanted characters.
