Help! My character is stuck in a bug!

I was on Level 10, and in the Lizardman shrine/burial room, there was a symbol on the ground that is a dorway. I used it to go in, and while loading the game crash.

I tried 3 times and it always do that...

My character name is Dara Ashalley. My Login name is "Lord Luvian". Ziroc, can you unbug her? I've been playing her something like 12 hours nonstop and I really would hate to lose her.

When the game crashes do you end up still in level 10 ?

BTW unless you are of a high level (see 30 plus) you do not want to be tangling with the guys on the other side of that portal.

Also there is a problem (or there used to be not sure if its fixed) with the exit on the other side of that portal.

No, when I connect with the character the game start to load an area and crash again. I assume it think my character is in that area and want to start me in it.

I'm sure the level 40 or so merc on level 10 would have been able to handle everything in that room for me...

Who is she? She's crazy... 50 in every stats and what look like godly equipments. Why could I only chose "yes" when she asked to come?

Those dudes behnd the portal are CRAZY!

and don't worry when the server resets your character will be fine back in the inn.

What about the merc girl? Does she has a quest or anything? She talked about a monster...

I got the bug again today.

At first I suspected the merc to be the problem, but I was on level 10 again without the merc, and when I went in the portal I crashed again.

Any idea what is the problem?

Hmmm I will check it out and see if its occuring for everyone.

Have you found the shortcut to level 10 yet ?

EDIT: Well I tried it out and the level loaded fine for me.

Just to test can you try accessing that level from another way. I will PM you the instructions.

Luv, try going to your sound settings, and turning off EAX--and if you don't have EAX, change your sound choice to 'Miles Sound' then try. NWN Sound hardware can cause crashes a lot.

What kind of PC are you playing this on?

I was with him the last two times he tried to go, and I got in fine, can't say that I left that way, but I got in fine. I'm thinkin the only way I'll be going back there is with a group. Oh, and that was from both entrances as well.
