After u dealt with commander brage in the tomb area, and got his cursed berserker sword, is there any other use of the item?
I read from a walkthrough that this sword is for another quest in BG city...is this true? or is it just another simple cursed item ready to get sold or dropped?

Can be a great item to give a character you plan on getting rid oif anyways. "Go take out that group of gnolls, over there!"

Well, unlike other Cursed items, the Sword can actually be useful. The upsides of being a +3 weapon and possibly improving the wielder's combat stats are not to be sniffed at. As long as they're Tanking well away from the rest of the party, you need not fear the results of their turning against you.
Of course, the downsides are still considerable. Commands like "switch to a ranged weapon," "attack the Mage, not the Kobolds," and "drink a Healing Potion, dammit!" simply cannot be given to a Berserk character.

Yep. Basically, if you're willing to give up control of that character in exchange for enhanced damage, by all means, use it. Otherwise, it's just quick cash. (Even if you do decide to use it, it's best to keep another weapon handy for those fights that you want to maintain control in.)

I would tell you to give it to Minsc at the end battle, but by then you should have better weapons. Another vote for sale at the Naskel Fair.
