Ok I took in my PC to level 12 to test it and your death nights were doing 580 points of damage with one hit that would Kill my PC twice with one hit. My PC only had 290 hit points and your dragon guards were doing 580 points of damage with one hit. Bam one hit I'm dead. reserect Bam one hit I'm Dead 24 times in a row that sucks!! you need to ballance them take away at least 75% of their power. and your little skeletons don't take damage with anything less than a +8 weapon that's crazy and then they take 12 points of damage or less It took a +25 Bastard Sword and more that 25 hits just to get rid of half of its hit points, and that was only one. to many guards per area I went down the cave tha lead to when the Drow archer was shooting at me and there were to many asassens with their black out spell and then they woud do 300 points of damage with one hit and again Bam one hit I'm dead. at that point it wasn't worth trying to go any farther Test was over. The mod can't be played by a single PC past level 11 with any degree of fun. There just shouldn't be 50 PC's in one mod with more Hit points than GOD like PC's it just takes all the fun out of the game to reserect Die Rererect die reserect die reserect die reserect die reserect die reserect die Times 50 what fun is this?
Take a mage level 28 PC into the 12th level with no umber weapons and see how much fun reserecting is, then try it with a level 16-Fighter/18-Ranger with no weapon over +6 and see how far you get by yourself.I'm serious Try this and see if you can get any where let alone try to fight a dragon if you can even get to one.

I was the only person in the Undermountain and It didn't look like anyone has been in for hours, so the effects I encountered had nothing to do with umber PC's being there befor me.

I'm not mad just puzzled?

Actually, it's been packed today Crimson. I have been watching closely, and other players have been doing well. This is level 12, don't expect it to be easy . I'm still working on getting a good medium with their stats, so hang in there.

It takes time to get it 'just right'. But just remember, these guys are supposed to be bad asses. Anyone else want to respond to this post? Let me know your side to it too!! I've actually dropped their HP's and AC's a bit, but I'm working on 'To-hit' damage right now.

Good, Just wanted you to know what it was like for a single PC. The other night when there was 4 or 5 other PC's it wasn't so bad. At least we were not super out numbered. As I said there shouldn't be as many Bad guys attacking a single PC as were attacking a group. But If that can't be controlled then I"ll wait for others to be in the Mountain next time befor I go for level 12

I havent noticed damage like you are mentioning crimsom, I was playing level 12 solo this morning and Z popped in for a quick hello. I was doing pretty good solo. My character wasnt overpowered and i felt it was pretty challanging. When I was hit it was for 30-50 (more form the whip chicks) pts of damage, and I was dealing 20-50 pts myself non critical.

Z is right though, the mod has been busy a lot, word is getting around about level 12 and everyone is wanting to try their characters out down there.

BTW Z, i noticed the dragon statues wernt turning into dragons after you left earlier. Sorry I didnt post this sooner, been a busy day for me for once lol.

Going to head in now and have a peek at who is playing. Talk to you all later

Just came back from exploring level 12 for any 'inconsistencies' and the only thing i saw is that that damm penquin keeps appearing in the oddest of places!!

I met a party that was on level 11 and came down to 12 and everyting but that penquin seemed fine. Dont know Crimsom, you might have hit a fluke ( oh i hope Z dosnt add a giant Fluke ) in the game or something.

Damn.. it seems that when I make a custom creature to be summoned, it never 'summons'. (I made a stronger Green Dragon, and yep, it doesn't appear, as usual. ARGH! I'm going to look into this.

Thanks for reminding me, I forgot to check and see if they were spawning too!

I do not yet have an opinion. I have not been able to test enough to know what type of power I need in there. I did make a silly discovery by accident...as my 18/22 shifter was dying real fast on level 12, even in dragon form...but when I decided to just stay in human form...I did not take even half the damage. So, I need to cut back on some of my equipment because my red drgon form supposed to be the strongest form...for a shifter, for why else would one want to shift if not to become a powerful beast?

I still have a lot of work to do on my part.

I will post my opinion when I have one on this thread...if the thread is still here.

Maybe your armor and other items? You lose those when you shape change..

Hi all,

I've been about on L12 with a L35 char (paladin/tormite) and whilst it was pretty hard the only thing that I encountered that I thought was crazy was the dragon cultist mages. When I had +64ish to hit(with divine favour and divine wrath up) I was still only just hitting, reckon their AC must have been in the 70's.....

Apart from that there were difficult but not impossible (although that char does have a pretty good AC and Saves.....)

cheers

Rory

Ok, I'll look into the Mages again as well. Their AC is around 65 (base AC plus armor).
