My Crappy cable company in this back woods town I live in will soon be supporting the cable internet but not until Oct this year.
And (F) the Direct TV people Had it and everytime a cloud blows past
I loose the link. Any chance of getting you to put it on disk like TeamBG

It'll be worth the wait TCB! I haven't used a 56k modem since 1998, and will never go back!

As soon as the Undermountain Mod is complete, yeah, I'll contact PCGamer and CGW and CGM about adding it to their Monthly CD -- as well as have it up for download here and on the Official NWN Mod Forum.

(I would like to see just how popular it got--how many downloads it would get)

I had the server up this morning, and it was SLAMMED packed full in 10-20 mins!

PS: Welcome to the Forum!!!
You should also put it up for download at NWVault where all the other mods are, and let Planet Neverwinter, etc all know.

I was able to connect with a 56K but it was a bit sluggish. A friend in the DC area checked his ping rate connection to the server using a cable modem and he was getting something in the low 60 ms range; mine was fairly stable around 150ms using a 56k dial up.

It's definitely playable with a dial up, but you won't be able to connect to all servers or even Z's in some cases if your ping rate is too high. You'll just time out. If that's the case, DSL or cable is DEFINITELY called for. I'll probably upgrade sometime this month. LOL I've put it off too long and the new games are beginning to tax the ability of dial-up connections to adequately deliver stable mplayer performance. There is just TOO much data being transmitted.
