Ok, this thread is for the... er.. "loserest?" advice possible. Basically post all tactics that one must be really really desparate to use...

Here is mine:

The "infinite money" tactic (for those really desparate to get cash):

Make sure your charisma is high enough... go buy a pack of 10 throwing daggers... then unpack them and sell each dagger separately... you'll get more GP than you spent for them... a few gold pieces per 'deal'.

Actually, a "friend" (looks pointedy at Ilander) of mine did that! Well, he killed skeletons, and then sold individual daggers to Thalyntir (sp?). My advice would be to kill the Ankhegs, then sell their shells to either Thalytir or Feldpost. Good luck!

Oh yes, but make sure you don't ask him to make you armor, then he'll never buy it again. Load up on ankheg and drop them all on the floor, picking them up one at a time to sell.... since he pays a flat 500 gold for whatever you're carrying. So instead of 500 for 16, make it 500 for one... and then another.. and so on and so forth.

I always resorted to the "Kill everything that moves and is not in front of other poeple" tactic when I got really really desperate.

Or its popular cousin, "Kill Everything That Won't Lower Your Reputation."
This includes goading Thalantyr and people like that into attacking you.

Fair enough. The money you make can help bribe... er.. Redeem yourself.. back into good standing after a rep loss.

A desperate tactic for 'losers':

Use the Firewine ruins to level up your characters. There will always be 'fresh meat' ( = XP), as the monsters are respawning all the time.

Yeah, but they're just kobolds, 7 lousy XP each.

BTW, if this thread gets bigger, why not just put it as a sticky and call it 'Best Tips' like in the Wizards and Warriors forum?
